Something from the archives.
May 2008, Cologne (Fuji Sensia 100).
May 2008, Strasbourg (Fuji Sensia 100).
April 2008, Cologne (Fuji Sensia 100).
This was quite literally an off the cuff shot. I just placed the camera on a thick book I was holding, turned it to the direction I wanted, focussed to infinity, guessed half the exposure and shot off three frames. I had no way of knowing what/if I’d get/anything. Luckily, two of those frames came out decent. This is one of them. After a long time I am happy with something I shot.
April 2008, Bad Godesberg.
Shot with my friend’s newly acquired Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 50/1.4. Have to say it is one amazing camera with a plethora of features although its immense complexity and resultant steep learning curve is a bit off putting at first. And at least from my experience of the Nikkor 50/1.4 I still prefer the bokeh of my Minolta lenses.
December 2006, Munich.
March 2007, Bad Godesberg.
March 2005, London.
I was sorting through some old negatives and came across these two. As usual I screwed up the shots technically (in my defence didn’t know jack about cameras then) but I like the way the two photos play off each other.
