As some of you may have noticed already I’ve changed my domain. I’ve taken steps to make the transition smooth and everything seems to be working well so far. Many things have changed while some have stayed the same (this photoblog for instance). Do explore. You could start from here.

I recently attended the 9th Butterfly India Meet that was held in Goa. We visited different sanctuaries and national parks in Goa during the 4 days of the meet and even though the rains played spoil sport managed to see a wide variety of butterflies and other fauna. This is a frog belonging to the Philautus genus. We encountered him on a night walk in the sanctuary.

Recently, out of the blue I found myself in an antiques shop near my home. As I was checking out some old cameras in terrible condition the man behind the counter unwrapped an old TLR he had to show me. It turned out to be a Rolleicord V! Needless to say I bought it as it was in remarkably good condition and came with the original carrying case as well. Only problem was that it’s shutter was damaged but after a thorough CLA everything is working. Now, to source some 120 film and take it for a spin.
