Shot with my friend’s newly acquired Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 50/1.4. Have to say it is one amazing camera with a plethora of features although its immense complexity and resultant steep learning curve is a bit off putting at first. And at least from my experience of the Nikkor 50/1.4 I still prefer the bokeh of my Minolta lenses.

Quite possibly this is the first time I’m posting a photo of food on this blog. Yes, even though it was my first time eating Sushi I liked it. And man, was that Wasabi hot!

For a long time I’ve had the idea to start a blog where I write on photography and related topics. I finally started it a few days back. If interested you can check out the blog here. It totally slipped my mind that this photoblog had completed two years of existence a couple of weeks back! As they say better late than never 🙂
